Meet the star of the show
Jimmy McKnight!
Jimmy originates from Shelby County Kentucky. He has been doing magic now for 20 years! Which is saying something, because he is only 24 years old! He first got his start in magic at the age of four, when he recieved a magic kit for christmas. Ever since, he has been facinated! Every chance he could get e would ask his family to go see the nearest magic show. It was at one of these shows where he met his mentor.
David Garrard was performing magic at a local event called "Bagdad Days." Named for the town of Bagdad, who's name comes from the feed mill. In a tent by the church is where Jimmy whitnessed David perform many delightful routines, including a straight jacket escape! After the show, Jimmy approached David, as he did every magic show he attended. Here David learned of his love for magic- and informed him of The Louisville Magic Club!
At the time, David was president of the organization. Hew explained the club meets once a month, and magicians all around join to learn and teach magic!
Fast forward, Jimmy now has his own show, where he delights audiences all over! From classics of magic, dividing a lady in three, and Houdini style escapes- Jimmy has a little something for everyone! A family friendly experience, you'll witness comedy, grand scale illusion, sleight of hand, wild props and choreography! You may even learn a trick or two! Jimmy aims for more than just a show with tricks. He encorperates other aspects of live shows and performance to make a truly theatrical experinece!
